The 40W ultra fast charging charger of a large mobile phone company needs to form an excellent sealing environment at the charging interface to prevent the product from accidentally entering water and causing short circuits in internal components. According to the application environment of the product, there are several performance requirements for sealed products, including:

1. The thickness is relatively thin, with an internal space of 1.0mm thickness, reaching 0.6mm after compression;

2. Has excellent waterproof and airtight properties, and does not allow water to enter the product after being submerged in water;

3. Low loss during long-term compression and repeated plugging and unplugging;

4. Has excellent flame retardant properties.

The customer tested some materials, including a certain H product from abroad, but failed to meet their standards and requirements due to its thickness of 1mm, width of 1.2mm, large pores, and lack of waterproofing. So we found our GM400 product according to the demand, because GM400 product is the only product in the domestic foam industry that has passed UL certification and has V0 level flame retardant performance. GM400 can achieve V0 level flame retardant performance above 0.8mm, and the foam pores are evenly distributed, with excellent water and gas tightness, low stress relaxation loss, excellent high-temperature aging performance, and can meet the working environment of long-term compression and repeated insertion and extraction. This material has performed well in laboratory testing and has been applied in products and mass-produced, successfully solving application problems for customers.
